  So bad that I paid the fee but left before even staying the first night...and so bad it has driven me to sign up to Google so that I can warn others against it. Staff were friendly and accommodating when booking over the phone, the place was in a great location and the room was spacious enough, but after checking in it was all downhill. When I asked where or how I could clean my clothes I got only shrugs. I was planning to stay a while and Cadaques has no laundries so this was a problem. When I asked how other guests cleaned their clothes I got more shrugs and suddenly a receptionist who had been speaking perfect English until then turned surly and spoke no English or Spanish, just Catalan ("ho sento, ho sento"). I found another pensión down the road with better service and facilities (the excellent Hostal Cristina) and they were only too happy to provide laundry service (of course! sanity prevails!). I cut my losses at Vehí but when it came to leaving, the receptionist suddenly again spoke perfect English and was only too keen to provide their own laundry service. It really shouldn't be that hard. As well as the laundry, Cristina also had free internet, as good a location and a much warmer vibe.
